Life Path 11
The Intuitive (master number) — a master number. A master number. The 2 amplified: intuition and nervous sensitivity, carrying more signal than is comfortable.
Eleven is two amplified, and it is not a comfortable inheritance. The sensitivity that makes a Two perceptive is turned up here past the point of regulation: you pick up atmosphere, motive and things unsaid at a volume that is genuinely useful and genuinely exhausting, often without being able to explain how you know. People find your read on situations uncanny. The difficulty is that the nervous system carrying all this signal was not issued with a filter, so overwhelm is a permanent feature rather than an occasional event, and the strain shows up as anxiety long before you attribute it here.
- Strength
- Intuition, sensitivity to signal that others miss entirely.
- The work
- Building the filter you were not born with, before it costs your health.
The pattern over a life
The shape is a life carrying more signal than the equipment was issued to handle. Elevens usually knew things early without being able to say how, were told they were too sensitive by people who meant it kindly, and learned to check their perceptions against other people's before trusting them. The accuracy is real — the read on a situation is frequently right — and so is the cost, which shows up as anxiety, exhaustion or physical symptoms long before anyone connects it to this.
At work
You are unusually valuable wherever reading people or situations correctly is the job: therapy, teaching, design, negotiation, anything where the unspoken thing is the real problem. The hazard is environmental rather than professional. An Eleven in a hostile or chaotic workplace absorbs it continuously and will attribute the resulting depletion to personal inadequacy for years. Where you work matters more for this number than what you do, and that is a legitimate thing to optimise for.
In close relationships
You will know something is wrong before your partner does, and saying so is a specific hazard: being told what you feel by someone who is usually right is uncomfortable even when it is kind. The reverse problem is worse — because your reads are usually accurate, you stop checking them, and an Eleven who has stopped asking is simply someone acting on assumptions with an unusually good track record. Ask anyway. The hit rate is high, not perfect.
How Life Path 11 gets misread
The caricature is fragility. What is happening is a nervous system taking in more than a typical one and doing so without a filter, which is a bandwidth problem rather than a strength problem. The other misreading is that the intuition is mystical. It is more usefully understood as very fast pattern recognition on signals other people discard — which is why it is accurate, and why it is tiring.
When it goes wrong
The loop is overwhelm treated as a character flaw. You take on more, absorb more, deplete, conclude you are weak, and respond by demanding more of yourself — which increases the load. It ends in a physical or emotional stop rather than a decision. The exit is the unromantic one: a deliberate filter. Fewer inputs, protected recovery, and a distinction between noticing something and being responsible for it, which for this number are not the same and feel identical.
How common is Life Path 11?
Numerology sites describe the numbers; almost none of them count them. We enumerated every calendar date from 1930-01-01 to 2026-12-31 — 35,429 days — through the same calculation the calculator uses. Life Path 11 lands on 6.44% of them, about one birth date in 16.

Rarity is not a fixed property of a number. The year component reduces differently for 19xx and 20xx years, so the shares move.

Will another site give you a different number?
Quite possibly. There are two conventions in use: reducing the month, day and year separately before adding them (what we do, and what the mainstream sources use), or summing all eight digits at once. On 19.5% of the dates that produce a 11 under our method, the digit-sum method gives something else. Across all dates the two disagree 12.86% of the time, so this number is well above average for it.
Common questions
Is 11 better than 2?
It is more intense, not better. Eleven is two amplified: the same perceptiveness with the volume raised past the point of comfortable regulation. The tradition calls master numbers higher-potential and there is nothing measurable behind that ranking.
How common is Life Path 11?
About 6.4% of birth dates in our count, roughly one in sixteen — less common than the single digits but far from rare. It is the most common of the three master numbers by a wide margin.
Why do some calculators say I am a 2?
Because they sum all eight digits instead of reducing each component first, and that method collapses many 11s to 2. On about 20% of the dates that give an 11 here, the other method gives something else.

Life Path is the numerology piece. The astronomy is separate: your Moon sign is the private version of you, and your rising sign is how you come across before anyone knows you. Both need a birth time and place; this one does not.
